Before choosing Dr. Sidle for my septorhinoplasty, I thoroughly researched many surgeons. During my initial consultation, Dr. Sidle clearly explained the structural issues with my nasal cavity and set realistic expectations. He took the time to understand my cautious goals for cosmetic reconstruction and even created multiple visual scenarios in real time to help me decide.
His staff was outstanding—patient, thorough, and incredibly supportive. They made sure I felt comfortable on the day of surgery and walked me through the billing process afterward.
The surgery itself went smoothly. Even though I was the first of several patients that day, Dr. Sidle gave me his full attention and care. I followed the post-op instructions diligently, and my recovery exceeded expectations. When the splints were removed, the rush of air through my nose was so refreshing it felt like my brain stem was being tickled!
Within weeks, I was breathing better, snoring less, and sleeping more soundly. The cosmetic results were equally impressive—Dr. Sidle crafted a nose shape and size that harmonizes beautifully with my face.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Dr. Douglas Sidle and his incredible Northwestern team! From my very first consultation, Dr. Sidle and his PA Erin made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision to undergo blepharoplasty. Dr. Sidle took the time to listen to my medical concerns, explain the procedure thoroughly, and set realistic expectations.
The surgery itself went smoothly, and the recovery process was much easier than I anticipated, thanks to the detailed aftercare instructions. i went to see dr sidle in 2020. this was one of the best decisions i’ve ever made. dr sidle quite literally changed my life. my confidence has never been so high. i have always had a large forehead, it was my biggest insecurity. id always have bangs, hats, etc. he met with me and he made me feel so comfortable and was so knowledgeable that i knew if i’d go through with the procedure, he’d be the only doctor i’d let do it. the procedure was painless and quick. after the stitches were out there was a scar but he assured that hair would grow through it. a few months later, the scar was not noticeable at all. people are shocked when i tell them i got this procedure done because they can’t tell. my forehead is so natural and my favorite thing about me after so many years of it being an insecurity. if you have hesitations about this procedure i hope this review makes you feel at ease. can’t recommend doctor sidle enough.
