Had wrinkles bout my eye disappeared with botox. This dr. did not bother to ask if I had dry eyes. I saw double vision short time. Almost was killed going home saw 3 lanes on Irving Park. I had to go to eye specialist to get medical glasses to see straight. Dr. Platis never should have used botox on my area of eyes . Never offered .me any of my $$ back; concealer could have done the trick. He did call me everyday to see : was better. Should have reported him to Med. Board.

Hi, 6 months ago I had a tummy tuck and I'm so thrilled and thankful I wanted to share... I've had 2 surgeries by Dr. Platis and I look amazing!! I had a breast lift in 2012 and a tummy tuck in 2015. Both with perfect results!
I have worked with Dr's for 28 years and Dr. Platis was referred to me by my gynecologist. When I first met Dr. Platis I knew he was honest, sincere and his work was well known. Dr. Platis makes you feel very comfortable.
Since the tummy tuck I have more self-confidence, energy, I'm healthier and I feel sexy again! I feel like a new person!
I would truly recommend this procedure to anyone who is considering a tummy tuck. I wish every woman who needs this procedure could have it. I'm so thrilled with the results! Thank You Dr. Platis!!, I look amazing!!!

Would not recommend Dr. Platis. I chose Dr. Platis for a breast augmentation because my twin sister went to him for hers. I told him I wanted the same size, or smaller as my sister's. I woke up from surgery and upon reading my documentation found that he used a completely different (larger) size and shape. (see photos attached - mine on left versus my sisters). He didn't even communicate this to me himself. We never even discussed different shapes of implants.He is condescending as well and spoke down to me on multiple occasions. When I mentioned how the implant would look clothed, his response was 'isn't it more about how they look not clothed?' He also called me numerous times the morning of my 9am surgery asking if I could come earlier. I was already nervous and I felt like he was rushing me through the entire process from consultation to surgery. Even when I called him to after my first workout to ask about soreness I was experiencing his response was 'why do you think that is Annie?' Very regretful decision choosing Dr. Platis.

If you want exceptional results and a Dr that is phenomenal, then you need to see Dr Platis. I was extremely nervous about having a “boob job.” But it was time. I had 2 kids, years of yo-yoing with my weight and an illness that caused me to balloon up and down in weight in a short time, really had taken its toll on my breasts. When I laid down my breasts no longer stood up but they laid in my armpit. I’m turning 49 this year and this was definitely not good for my ego.
I was referred to Dr Platis by my sister-in-law who works in medical billing. I went to see Dr Platis and immediately, I felt at ease. He asked me what I was looking for and I told him that I wanted to look like I did when I was 20. I also explained to him that I was wondering if augmentation was even possible since I had an autoimmune disease, which was currently in remission, but I was still taking medication to keep it in remission. Dr Platis was so knowledgeable with my disease, but of course he asked that I speak with my specialist, who gave me the go ahead. Dr Platis also had me speak with the anesthesiologist as well to be on the safe side. He then thoroughly explained to me what needed to be done and how it would be done. This knowledge made me feel so much better.
Well I had the surgery. I had breast augmentation with implants. Dr Platis recommended the implants so I would have the fullness up top again. After the surgery, I did not feel much pain. Just a pressure on my breasts. I followed all the direction from the surgical center and Dr Platis and my breast are beautiful. Apparently, my husband thinks they are better than when I was 20! I feel much more confident. I am very happy that I came to Dr Platis. My husband calls Dr Platis the breast god! The work he did was phenomenal. His bedside manner is soothing and humorous. His office staff is so kind and no question is too much bother for them to answer.
Since this procedure, I have been complimented on my breast a lot! A lot! Now all my friends want to go see Dr Platis too. If anyone is thinking about having this procedure done, I most definitely recommend Dr Platis and his staff.

In 2004 Dr Platis did my tummy tuck. He was awesome! Very kind, great bedside manner, he really cares about his patients, he actually met me on a Sunday at his Merrillville office to check my progress while he had friends and family in his vehicle. But the best part is every time I visit the gynecologist they ask who did my tummy tuck, then tell me what a great job he did. Comparing my results to others... I’m THRILLED with my results even after 14 years!
