I have been dreaming and praying for a Doctor like Dr. McKinnon ever since I had my first surgery but after years of searching and my tumor growing we finally found Dr. McKinnon! He changed my life!
I had a massive tumor and multiple tumors that Dr McKinnon said he could and did remove! He understands Neurofibromatosis better than a doctor I have come across and I am truly grateful that God blessed me with the opportunity to have my surgery performed by the doctor with the GOLDEN HANDS AND HEART!

We had our first experience with Dr. Mckinnon this summer when he performed an extensive surgery on my teenage son. As a parent, you can imagine the stress and anxiety associated with this, nevermind what my son was going through. I can tell you our experience with Dr. McKinnon was nothing short of fabulous. He is a physician who surpasses expectations in every area. Starting with his surgical skill: I am not a doctor but I am in the health care field and I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. McKinnon's approach, explanations, plan of care, follow through, and aftercare. He was incredibly thorough before, during, and after the procedure. He was always available, and his response to everything that came up was immediate. Follow up appointments were as equally comprehensive and thorough.
We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Dr. McKinnon. Though we hope we will never need his services again, we are grateful that there is a physician like McKay McKinnon available to care for my son.

Dr. McKinnon is absolutely the best! It was my son's first surgery, and Dr. McKinnon really made the experience a pleasant one. He was very professional, and great at what he does. He explained everything to us, and it was exactly what he explained from beginning to end! And his office manager Astrid was very helpful! Both her, and Dr. McKinnon really worked as a team to get everything done! I highly recommend! 👍 It's been two weeks, and my son's scar is completely healed. I was concerned at first, because he had a tumor removed from his head area, and I was worried about the scarring, but everything has healed perfectly! Dr. McKinnon is a God sent! My son was very lucky to have him as his surgeon!

Having basal cell carcinoma on my upper lip was worrisome – not just because it was cancer, but because I was concerned about having a prominent scar from my nostril to my lip. Dr. McKay McKinnon fixed all of that perfectly. Six months later, there isn’t even a scar!
I was grateful and relieved that a plastic surgeon of Dr. McKinnon’s renown would take my case. He was kind, efficient, and present from my first visit to his office for consultation through the follow-up visits to ensure that everything was all right. During the surgery, it was clear that he is a master of the operating room. That includes the surgery itself, as well as getting prompt results from pathology.
Dr. McKinnon explained everything clearly and provided important tips for aftercare. He was available if anything went awry. (Nothing did.) I recommend him unconditionally.
